The Opportunity

We’re hiring a Director of Growth to scale our revenue-generating efforts across sales, strategic partnerships, and demand generation. This role combines Sales (AE-level experience), Partnership Development, and Growth Strategy, making it ideal for a dynamic operator who thrives in a fast-moving, early-stage SaaS environment.

This role will work closely with and report to the Founder/CEO. This role will work very closely with, and dotted-line report to, our VP of Revenue. You’ll be responsible for building scalable growth systems, directly engaging with prospective customers, and forming go-to-market partnerships that accelerate DocVocate’s reach in the healthcare market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Growth Strategy & Execution
    • Develop and own a multi-channel growth roadmap across outbound sales, inbound marketing, partnerships, and customer expansion.
    • Design and execute campaigns that drive high-quality ICP leads into our pipeline.
    • Run experiments and iterate quickly to find what works; optimize for CAC, LTV, and time-to-close while helping to refine our ICP definition.
  • Sales & Business Development
    • Travel to national and regional conferences to grow the sales pipeline while simultaneously building critical strategic partnerships and relationships.
    • Help refine the sales process, from discovery to demo to close, including CRM tracking and performance analysis.
    • Partner with the VP of Revenue to develop sales and partnership playbooks while building the plan to grow the commercial team.
  • Strategic Partnerships
    • Identify and execute on high-impact partnerships (e.g., healthcare technology providers, billing services, networks, and consultants).
    • Manage partner relationships, co-selling opportunities, and referral pipelines.
  • Analytics & Optimization
    • Leverage DocVocate’s CRM to define and report on key growth metrics: pipeline growth and performance, CAC, revenue by segment, etc.
    • Ensure the pipeline stays up to date and appropriate details are being captured for each opportunity.
    • Provide strategic input to executive leadership on growth trends and new opportunities.

Qualifications
  • 6–10+ years of experience in B2B SaaS with a strong mix of Sales (Account Executive) and Partnerships experience.
  • Proven ability to build pipeline in an early-stage or growth-stage healthcare company.
  • Experience selling to healthcare provider organizations or within revenue cycle management (RCM) is required.
  • Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence both internally and externally.
  • Data- and process-driven mindset; comfortable building systems and reporting structures from scratch.
  • Entrepreneurial, resourceful, and excited to grow with a mission-driven team.
  • Familiarity with healthcare revenue cycle management (RCM) or medical billing is a plus.
