The Opportunity

We're hiring a Sr. Technical Product Manager to support the development and optimization of the DocVocate Platform. Reporting to the VP of Product, this role owns product requirements, backlog management, and sprint execution to ensure timely delivery.

Success requires collaboration with engineering and data teams, strong technical fluency, and the ability to keep projects moving smoothly.

Key Responsibilities
Drive Product Development
  • Support all phases of the PDLC, including research, requirements gathering, documentation, testing, and iteration.
Collaborate Cross-Functionally
  • Partner with Engineering, Customer Success, Data Engineering, and QA to define and deliver product features.
Translate Requirements
  • Convert business needs into clear user stories and acceptance criteria in Jira.
Support Sprint Execution
  • Assist the VP of Product in sprint ceremonies, backlog prioritization, and cross-team alignment.
Leverage Data
  • Write SQL queries, analyze data, and validate assumptions to inform product direction.
Test & Troubleshoot
  • Participate in QA and UAT to ensure product quality.
Document Processes
  • Maintain internal documentation in Confluence.
Customer-Centric Improvements
  • Incorporate user feedback and data insights into iterative product enhancements.

Qualifications
  • 5–7+ years in product management, technical program management, or engineering, ideally in healthcare, RCM, or data-intensive SaaS.
  • Experience developing and deploying AI features.
  • Hands-on SQL experience; familiarity with APIs, data pipelines, and system integrations.
  • Experience delivering enterprise SaaS products.
  • Agile experience; proficient in Jira and Confluence.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; able to translate technical concepts for diverse stakeholders.
  • Bachelor's degree in technical, business, or healthcare field (advanced degree a plus).

Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in fast-paced startup or high-growth environments.
  • Knowledge of healthcare workflows, RCM processes, and compliance (HIPAA, PHI).
  • Understanding of revenue cycle workflows: eligibility, claims submission, denials, and payment posting.
